High Maintenance is, or was, an original web series that was funded by Vimeo to launch exclusively on the Vimeo On Demand platform. This called for an extensive scope of work beginning with creating a visual identity that would appear on mural designs, a full-page color ad in The New York Times, a double-decker bus that roamed the streets of Manhattan, digital takeovers, and print campaigns in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Toronto.
Working closely with the creators, Ben and Katja, we refreshed the existing look and feel - producing a new visual identity to capture a wider audience in the streets and on the web. The show rose to popularity and in 2015, it was announced that they would continue to release work on the premium HBO network.
